All the time in lockdown during the pandemic helped me realize that I was living the life I loved without even realizing it. This downtime allowed me to spend time in introspection to develop a plan to implement my core purpose; to enrich the lives of others through the Return On Energy™ Framework. I was living a life of scarcity for many years, I want to help you and your team get to where you want to go faster. I have so much that I want to share with you when you feel ready for next level thinking.

ROE® stands for Return On Energy. I published ROE Powers ROI, The Ultimate WAY to Think and Communicate for Ridiculous Results back in 2012. ROE is a concept that I developed during at time in my life (2007 - 2010) when I was in a lot of professional pain. I never intended to write a book or develop a business framework used by hundreds of people; I just needed a set of rules to maximize my, my employees and my clients full potential.

ROE is a framework that I and many others rely on to reach maximum leadership potential. I understand the struggles businesses faces more than you can imagine. I lived with a fear of failure even when my business was stable and doing very well. This fear affected me personally as well as my family. Even when I was considered a 'success', I still had to break through the imposter syndrome to live a life entrepreneurs only dream of.

Why I Do It

From an early age there was something different about how I saw the people around me, how I learned to communicate with them, and how I watched them communicate with each other. My childhood couldn’t be a more typical American story. I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, I worked in my father’s deli, and I was fortunate enough to be the first person in my family to go to college. So my ability to recognize and resolve business ailments isn’t necessarily anything that’s been passed down to me, nor is it some innate superpower.

My inspiration started with what my dad taught me when I worked the counter at his deli. Picture a nine-year-old
being told by his father that when you’re talking to a customer, you look them in the eye and remember that everyone in the world is wearing an invisible sign that says, “I want to feel special.”

Looking back, I think that’s a better inheritance than if he had handed me a $1 million check.
